
Dora Kingsley, D.P.A., leads Trenton West's consulting practice specializing in business and political intelligence, research and development, opposition research and background vetting.
Dr. Kingsley established Trenton West to help candidates and companies correct media/public perception inaccuracies limit public image liabilities, correct public records, position officeholders for leadership contests, and for successful election campaigns. She developed qualitative research methodologies and products and presents market-based research reports.
Dr. Kingsley is recognized as a consummate professional for her expertise in competitive intelligence, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies to delve into public records, databases, information systems and complex histories. Her ability to analyze the results - and recommend strategies for application - very often create the much-needed margin for success in a political campaign or public policy debate.
Dr. Kingsley has served in local, state and federal government executive and legislative branches, such as the US Department of Energy, US House of Representatives and the California State Treasurer's Office.
Dr. Kingsley recently completed a long-term project with the Center for Education Reform, a reform advocacy non-profit that provides policy and practical solutions to improve public education including school choice, charter schools and accountability reforms at the local, state and federal levels.
As Senior Political Advisor for the Republican National Committee Treasurer (2007-2008), Dr. Kingsley developed political activities and schedules for Treasurer, Chairman, press, and various Congressional leaders throughout the country, based on research into current activities and public opinion/positioning. From 2001 to 2005, Dr. Kingsley served as Chief White House Political Advisor to President Bush's California Campaign Chairman, where she collaborated with White House and Chairman's staff to develop political campaign strategies and activities for the President, Vice President, Cabinet Secretaries, and Senior White House staff to coordinate Presidential visits to California.

In 2004, as Executive Director of the California Republican National Convention Delegation, she screened thousands of delegation applicants, campaign volunteers, and supporters, selecting 1,200 to attend the New York convention. Other activities included processing hundreds of credentials for national media, managing a private security staff and coordinating their efforts with national security/counterintelligence forces, operations/logistics support for coordinated media events for Vice President Cheney and First Lady Laura Bush, along with Senate and Congressional Leadership offices and overall management of all delegation activities while in New York.
Since 1995, Dr. Kingsley has served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, teaching graduate courses in the School of Public Administration and the School of Policy, Planning and Development. She also teaches in The Graduate School of Political Management at The George Washington University for the undergraduates in the Washington program for USC students working in the Nation's Capital. She is recognized for her development of a Political Management graduate course, Professional Development undergraduate course, and revision of the Federalism and Public Administration graduate course.
Dr. Kingsley holds a Doctorate in Public Administration, Public Policy, National Security, Federal Systems Management, and Political Communications and a Masters in Public Administration & Intergovernmental Management and Public Finance from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric from the University of California, Davis. She is a Lifetime Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration.
